The Downside of Living Paycheck to Paycheck

Since I moved out of my parents household to go to college, I learned the art of living paycheck to paycheck.  When I don’t make much money, it’s hard for me to save it.  However, now that school is out for the summer, I have learned the downside to my lifestyle; one cannot live paycheck to paycheck if one has no paycheck.  I am completely broke!  As of right now, I have one bowl of Mac and Cheese left, then I’m out of food.  Yes, I do get food with my internship, but only when we’re doing stuff, so I have no food on the days off.

As I write this, I realize that there are people all over the world who don’t eat everyday.  How can I sit here and complain about how I have failed to be able to provide for myself, when there are children digging through the trash in India because the last meal they had was a week ago.  I am terrible.

Anyway, I miss being a child and living at home, even if home was usually rough.  I still had food and it was awesome.
