The Amazingness of Grace

Amazing grace, how sweet the sound.
It’s a sound that echos so quietly that no one will hear if they don’t stop to listen.
Yet, if we all cease to sing it, the Word says that the rocks will cry out His name.

The sound of this amazing grace is so sweet that it will never be silent.
If we stumble and decide to forget, the sound of Christ dying should be a reminder.
“Eloi, Eloi, lema sabachthani?”
The sweet sound of Jesus’ crying out to His Father or had to forsake His son for the sake of humanity.

Amazing grace, how sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me.

It saved a wretch like me.
A WRETCH LIKE ME!
Christ died and saved me.
His amazing grace searched into the future and into the past and saw the lives of everyone, the sins of all the souls.
HE SAVED US ALL
Let us not forget.

I once was lost, but now I’m found.
He found me.  That’s all that matters.
I was lying on a dirty, soiled floor in the midst of a dark death, but He brought me light.
He reached in and picked me up and threw me into the arms of life.
He found me, when no one else could.

Was blind, but now I see.
Eyes closed to the world around,
Darkness was all that I could see.
But when He found me with His sweet sounding amazing grace, I opened my eyes.
He helped me to see again.

Amazing grace, how sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me.
I once was lost, but now I’m found;
Was blind, but now I see.
